This Privacy Policy describes how Newleap Solutions LLC, doing business as Knotrik (“we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information about you when you visit knotrik.com (the “Site”) or interact with our services. If you have questions, contact us at hello@knotrik.com.

1. Information We Collect

Server Logs

Our hosting infrastructure (Firebase Hosting) automatically records standard server log data when you visit the Site. This includes your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security monitoring and diagnosing technical problems. Logs are retained for up to 30 days.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to understand how visitors use the Site. GA4 collects anonymised usage data such as pages viewed, session duration, and general geographic region. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. We do not load GA4 unless you have accepted analytics cookies via our consent banner. You may withdraw consent at any time using the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.

Contact & Early-Access Forms

When you submit our contact form or join the early-access programme, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and your message. This data is transmitted securely to our operations platform (Make.com) and used solely to respond to your enquiry or manage your place on the early-access list. We do not sell or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal bases for processing your personal data are:

  • — Legitimate interests — server logs for security and reliability.
  • — Consent — analytics cookies (GA4). You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • — Contract / pre-contractual steps — processing contact form submissions to respond to your requests.

3. Data Retention

  • — Server logs: retained for up to 30 days, then deleted automatically.
  • — Analytics data: retained in GA4 for 14 months (Google’s default), then automatically deleted.
  • — Form submissions: retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of the enquiry, then deleted.

4. Cookies

We use a single category of optional cookie: analytics cookies placed by Google Analytics 4. These are only set with your explicit consent. We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party social media cookies.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking “Manage cookies” in the footer of any page.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following sub-processors, each bound by data processing agreements:

  • — Google LLC — Firebase Hosting (infrastructure) and GA4 (analytics, with your consent).
  • — Make.com (Celonis SE) — automation platform for processing form submissions.
  • — Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) — error monitoring (no personal data intentionally captured).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • — Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • — Erasure: request deletion of your personal data.
  • — Portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • — Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
  • — Objection / Restriction: object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • — Withdraw consent: withdraw analytics consent at any time via the cookie banner.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS (TLS), HTTP security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options), and access controls. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
